Wonderful new 45sqm studio with private entrance, ceiling with wooden beams and an arch in original vintage bricks in one of the most characteristic streets of Trastevere near Via Garibaldi, Piazza Trilussa and Santa Maria in Trastevere. It is perfect for an unforgettable stay in the alleys of Trastevere discovering its hidden wonders.
The apartment was renovated in 2017 and consists in a large open space with lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The furniture is functional and modern, and despite its location, the apartment is quiet.
The entrance is independent; upon entering you are greeted by a living room with a sofa bed (145cm x 190cm), TV corner, bookcase, desk and a table with four chairs.
The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, cutlery and crockery for six people.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160cm x 190cm) and a wardrobe, and the bathroom has a shower cabin.
The house is equipped with an air conditioning system.
Parking
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) only at night.
ZTL timetable:
- from 21.30 to 03.00 (Wed-Sat; from May to October, also Wednesday and Thursday)
- from 6.30 to 10.00, every day, excluding holidays

Area
The apartment is located in the picturesque and characteristic neighborhood of Trastevere, which still has its charm through the winding streets covered with cobblestones overlooking some beautiful medieval houses.
The name Trastevere comes from the Latin "trans Tiberim", which means "beyond the Tiber". It was once inhabited by the Etruscans, until the neighbourhood was invaded by the Romans in order to exercise control over the river on both sides. This is why Trastevere is located on the east bank of the Tiber, south of Vatican City.
At night the district is filled with not only tourists but also locals, attracted by the many restaurants and pubs in the area. No doubt, this really is one of the most lively and characteristic areas of Rome. In Trastevere are some of the most celebrated restaurants in the city ,'Cencio', 'The dirty word', because of the mutual insults exchanged with the waiters, 'Rugantino', 'da Gigetto'. There are even pizzerias, cinema, markets (San Cosimato was renovated just recently), banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of every kind and elegant boutiques.
