Splendid holiday home for families up to 10 people in Lorgues (Dept. Var, Southern France).
This large holiday home offers a lot of activities for young and old on the 8000 m2 fenced property, a tennis court, table tennis, as well as a large saltwater pool. On the property is enough space for any kind of ball games, featherball or even petanque. There are also 2 golf holes on artificial grass, and those who want to play golf professionally will find a golf course in about 40 minutes' drive.
Youth groups (under 30 years) are not welcome, and are asked to refrain from booking this house.
The environment:
The house is located about 2 km from Lorgues in a fantastic quiet location, far from traffic noise, in a typical Provencal atmosphere, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and pine trees.
Every Tuesday (also in winter), Lorgues has a very well-known market where local products such as olive oil, wine, spices and all kinds of vegetables can be found. But also on other days you can shop in Lorgues very well, there are many very good restaurants (Michelin), and the typical street cafés under the large and shady plane trees. Lorgues offers a diverse gastronomic range, and even two restaurants with Michelin stars.
To the great beaches of St. Tropez and Fréjus are about 35 km, and Cannes and Nice are reached after 1 hours drive. To the north in the famous Gorge du Verdon it is about 45 minutes. But also many other interesting and exciting excursion destinations lie within a radius of only about one hour.
Interior (completely renovated in 2017)
From the entrance you enter the large living room with fireplace. This is followed by a patio area with barbeque and large glass sliding doors, which lead to the outside. An ideal place for freshness in the summer, which is ideal for all meals.
The kitchen, which is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar, is located on the other side of the living room. There are 2 dishwashers.
The distribution of beds: 4 x bedroom with double bed, 3 with ensuite bathroom, 1 x activity room with 2 single beds on an open mezzanine (not air-conditioned). The 4 bedrooms with DB are air-conditioned. There is a 4th bathroom, to be shared.
Outside:
Around the house there are terraces and places where you can relax undisturbed, enjoy the sun, or be active. The big magnet will surely be the really big salt water pool (12 x 5 m) with its beautiful area.
Note:
Youth groups (under 30 years) are not welcome.
The use of open fire (camp fire, etc.) on the property is not permitted due to forest fires. The grill can only be used on the terrace.
